Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure to remove the excess hooding of skin on the eyelids. This hooding can cause a feeling of excess weight on the upper eyelids and can also interfere with the upper peripheral vision. This surgery can be performed under local anaesthesia with or without sedation or general anaesthesia. Dr Chadha has performed hundreds of these operations and has an excellent track record of good functional and cosmetic results.
Dr Chadha has received specialist training in eyelid surgery in Edinburgh and Glasgow and performs eyelid surgeries routinely in his NHS and Private practice. These include blepharoplasties, ptosis surgeries, ectropion and entropion correction surgeries, surgeries for thyroid eye disease and many others.
